Welcome to UCourierBox ("we," "our," "us"). UCourierBox is a courier aggregator and third-party logistics (3PL) platform based in Karachi, Pakistan. We provide merchants with a courier booking and tracking app, a Shopify app integration, and a merchant dashboard that allow you to book shipments, track deliveries, and monitor shipment performance — without needing to log in to the UCourierBox merchant portal.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your information when you use our website at https://ucourierbox.com, our mobile and web applications, our Shopify app, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

2.1 Information You Provide to Us

Account and Business Information: Your name, business name, email address, phone number, business address, and National Tax Number (NTN) or registration details where applicable.

Merchant Portal and App Credentials: Login details used to access the UCourierBox merchant portal, app, or Shopify integration.

Shipment Information: Consignee (recipient) names, delivery addresses, phone numbers, parcel contents or descriptions, declared value, weight, dimensions, and cash-on-delivery (COD) amounts.

Payment and Billing Information: Bank account details, payment records, COD reconciliation data, and invoicing information.

Communications: Messages, support requests, feedback, or other correspondence you send to us.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device and Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, features used, and time spent on the Services.

Log Data: Access times, error logs, and referring URLs.

Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies and similar tools to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

Courier Partners: Tracking statuses, delivery confirmations, failed delivery reasons, and returned shipment details.

Shopify: When you install our Shopify app, we receive order details (such as order ID, customer name, shipping address, phone number, and order value) strictly to create and manage bookings and provide tracking.

Payment Processors and Banks: Transaction confirmations and settlement records.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your merchant account.
• Enable courier booking directly from the UCourierBox app and the Shopify app.
• Generate shipping labels, manifests, and airway bills.
• Provide real-time shipment tracking and delivery updates.
• Display shipment performance through the merchant dashboard.
• Process COD payments, settlements, and invoices.
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
• Improve our Services, features, and user experience.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
• Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations in Pakistan.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide the Services:

• Courier and Logistics Partners: To pick up, transport, and deliver shipments, and to provide tracking updates.
• Shopify: As required for the Shopify app to function within your store.
• Payment Processors and Banks: To process COD remittances, settlements, and payments.
• Service Providers: Technology, hosting, analytics, and communication providers who support our operations under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal and Regulatory Authorities: When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Shipment and financial records may be retained for the period required under applicable Pakistani law.

Subject to applicable law, you may:

• Request deletion of your personal information, where legally permitted.
• Opt out of promotional communications (service and transactional messages will still be sent).
• Manage cookies through your browser settings.
• Uninstall the Shopify app at any time, which will stop further data collection through that integration.
